A Wrinkle in Time – Penguin Books Cover Design Competition This cover illustration was created using a combination of traditional and digital mixed-media techniques. Hand-rendered elements were produced through stencilling, watercolour painting, acrylic paint, and oil-based media to create rich textures and atmospheric effects inspired by the themes of A Wrinkle in Time. These physical artworks were then scanned and digitally refined in Adobe Photoshop, where layers, colour adjustments, and composition were developed to create the final cover design. The combination of tactile handmade processes and digital editing allowed for a visually dynamic outcome that reflects the novel’s sense of wonder, mystery, and adventure.
