I am a fashion designer with a strong foundation in both practical and academic aspects of the industry. My journey began in India with a foundation year in 2016, followed by a diploma in Fashion Design, which I completed in 2020. I then gained hands-on industry experience through two years of full-time work at a boutique, where I was involved in fashion merchandising, buying, and manufacturing. In 2022, I began my BA in Fashion Design at Birmingham City University. Since the beginning of my degree, I’ve developed a strong focus on sustainability starting with a zero-waste management project in my first year. This passion has continued to grow and now shapes my dissertation and creative direction. I am committed to creating innovative, responsible fashion that challenges waste and supports a more sustainable future for the industry.
