About
I am a Costume Design and Making student currently studying at Buckinghamshire New University. My passion for sewing has grown over the years, starting from sewing trinkets to sell at school fares to making garments to enter world-wide competitions.I fell in love with theatre from a young age, growing up with the immersive beauty that has made me strive and develop a set of costume skills I am proud of and well known for within my community.The future is truly unknown, but I will never lose my love for the creative arts, both theatre and film.
Original Victorian blouse pattern used to create a garment based off Erin Morgenstern’s ‘The Night Circus’ in particular the character of Poppet Murray. Strongly focused on capturing the curiosity that lies within the night sky and the link between her magical powers and the circus. Working in purely Black and White allowing more design features to flourish and represent deeper characteristics of Poppet.
