Madhu is a 21st century working woman who still believes in past lives because of the visions she gets. Falling in love with the same man again and again in different lifetimes, only for it to end in tragedy. When she finally meets the love of her life in present, she also solves the mystery involving the death of their past life in 1987. While their 1987 story inspired the final drape, their life in Burma during the year 1962 inspired the print design. It is also the bridge between the museum research and the film because of its similarity to Japanese culture. Seeing different time periods in the film Anegan, "Through Time” connects the modern world to the past using elements from Tamil and Japanese clothing. Adding fabric manipulation and draping this collection features a range of garments with interesting details.
