About
Final year Textile Design student at Loughborough University. Specialising in multi-media textiles, I am passionate about sustainable design for expressing individuality.
Designed to build confidence in gender minorities who feel unsafe in dark urban environments, my project "Tough as Nails" explores the concept of crime preventative design through a protective outerwear collection. The collection uses print, stitch and ceramics to create functional textiles with changeable shape, noise qualities and illusive patterns to create an uncanny valley effect to onlookers.
