I have recently completed and achieved a Postgraduate Masters Degree in Textile Design Innovation, after successfully accomplishing a BA (Hons) Textile Design Undergraduate Degree. Embarking on the masters degree, has enabled me to consolidate my knowledge, understanding, artistic appreciation and practical skills in preparation for working within the industry. My creative passion and contemporary style has allowed me to establish an extensive portfolio of Textile designs within both interiors and fashion specialisms. I believe my beautifully constructed designs, encompassing physical and digital techniques, illustrate innovation, freedom, and originality.

Textiles - Print

Utopia is a season-less collection illustrating the relationship between colour and nature and its positive impact on our mental health. Recent restrictions brought about by the Coronavirus Pandemic has had a detrimental effect both physically and psychologically, on our lives. The desire for normality has motivated me to create a soft furnishings collection, in order to build a tranquil and safe environment, in the home.

I-DOTT Competition entry 2021, 1st PLACE WINNER. In the category 'Beyond the Wall' Sponsored by Graham & Brown. The brief was to create an optical illusion using my own 2D artwork. To achieve this I composed soft wavy lines and strong textures, to build a 3D image.

Freedom Wear is a Printed Textiles collection illustrating the importance of fashion responsibility, aiding inclusivity for all. With the use of innovative ideas, I envisage my textile designs as part of a diverse clothing range worn both by those with and without upper and lower limb disabilities. Through personal interviews and questionnaire completions with those most greatly affected, it has become evident of the crucial need for change within the fashion industry. The proliferation of adaptive clothing availability over the last decade requires further evolvement to increase functional, stylish, and comfortable clothing accessible at an affordable price on the high street, regardless of a person’s physical limitations. With a series of mini collections of fresh and abstract compositions, I have explored different aspects of day to day living portraying confidence, celebration, and independence.

Serenity is an interiors collection aimed at easing a child's experience in a doctor's or nurse's room. Creating bright designs that are admired by children, and can allow them to be curious and excited. They can also be designed for tabards, scrubs, and masks, so every part of their experience is calm and not overwhelming.

This is a digital campaign poster I created for The British Lung Foundation. This was in aid for a charitable event.

This year I was chosen to exhibit in London at New Designers. It was such an amazing experience, meeting new people, and seeing all the new talent across the country.

Nature has many hidden gems that we don’t always see or appreciate. The beauty of our surroundings inspire me to consistently show my potential and constantly develop, and push all creative “boundaries”.
