"Her Time is Now" was inspired by my trips to Savile Row, a street in Mayfair, central London known for traditional bespoke tailoring, and Girona, Spain, which was one of the filming locations for season six of HBO's "Game of Thrones." I included men's traditional tailoring techniques and created a strong elongated silhouette based on the powerful female characters portrayed on the show. The textiles were designed to represent the armor that women wear day-to-day while growing older beautifully and gracefully, knowing that she does not need to look like a man in order to feel confident.

In the London tube system, an automated woman's voice reminds travelers to "please mind the gap" between the train and the platform. The collection, Mind the Gap, is an ode to the gap that we don't see—the gap between men's and women's equality. This collection is designed for a commuting woman who needs a comfortable, office-appropriate shoe. The collection is primarily hemp—a sustainable, plant-based fabric. Some of the benefits of hemp are that it is naturally anti-microbial, it is able to absorb and release perspiration, and it requires little water to grow.
Colors of Life was designed for a woman whose wardrobe consists primarily of neutral colors and the occasional pop of color. I was inspired by hardware-store paint chips—I was fascinated by the fact that, despite our many color options, people tend to limit themselves to the color pallets they are comfortable wearing. My customer is not artificially limited by her chosen color pallet...she just knows what she likes.
It's All in Your Head was inspired by the darkness of the 19th century. Long silhouettes give the illusion of the shadows we see at night. Do we believe what our eyes tell us? Or is it all in your head ...
Space Age Love was inspired by the luminosity of metal and the futuristic playfulness of the 1960's. The 60's was a time of curiosity in the exploration of the unknown. Looks include tailored jackets, oversized coats, and asymmetrical dresses. PVC is used to reflect the shiny qualities of the galaxy.
