About
Product designer with a first-class honours degree in BSc Product Design Technology from the University of the West of England, and recipient of the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) Award for my final-year project, Silenzio, a quiet bean-to-cup coffee machine designed for modern apartment living, featured on Dezeen.
I'm drawn to problems that sit at the intersection of engineering and everyday experience. Whether that's reducing noise in shared spaces, designing parametric furniture systems in Grasshopper, or building a mechanism that stops garment necklines from stretching, I care about the details that make products feel considered.
My background spans the full design process: from early-stage research and CAD (Rhino, Grasshopper) through to prototyping, DFM analysis, and presenting.
This is Silenzio. Silence is the beauty of this design. Daily life has become loud, and the situations that we find ourselves in are constantly changing. Whether that's living in a four-bedroom flat where everyone wakes up at different times, or even in your forever home with a loved one, the noise that a full bean-to-cup coffee machine makes resonates throughout the household. It puts you at risk of waking those people up. So I decided to focus on this problem: designing a coffee machine for modern life, where space is limited, and you can't afford to wake up the rest of the house or spend money on coffee every morning at your local café.
