"Sinking Ship" is a padded knitwear collection with approx. 170ft of knit fair isle patterns. This collection refers to a younger generation trying to stay afloat despite feeling the world is on a sinking ship. I am someone that likes to express my current state of life through my work. I constantly feel concerned for the health of the planet. I was able to knit these patterns made on DesignaKnit by sourcing deadstock and american made 100% wool yarn. I also sourced deadstock scuba and Yulex neoprene from damaged Patagonia wetsuits.
