Here are a selection of pages from my Final Major Project, where I explored circularity on the high street and assessed the viability of different processes for implementation at this market level. I researched the circular economy and considered elements from both the Biological, and Technical cycles.
These are a selection of pages from my FMP Creative Outcome where I designed a garden space and event in conjunction with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and Sustainable Fashion Week with the aims to promote and educate visitors on circular fashion and sustainable alternatives to fast fashion.
This project researches the high street lingerie sector and considers the future role of fashion retailing and its place in the product distribution process. It analyses consumption trends, retail evolution and challenges in retail strategies and applies models and theories to inform retail design.
In this part of my project, I created an innovative store design concept for Savage X Fenty, to translate the brand from the online, into a physical destination store, while retaining the cohesiveness of the brand image and encouraging greater interactivity with the product. I used the solutions outlined in the report to illustrate potential enhancements, modifications or new concepts to encourage in-store traffic and create a more valuable, enjoyable experience to draw customers back to the high street.
This project required practical insight into digital marketing and creative thinking. I had to develop a succinct digital creative strategy with a planned campaign for a sustainable sportswear brand. I analysed the digital environment for fashion brands and integrated the on and offline digital media methods with specific knowledge for each channel and resulting in a logical budget.
I analysed the role of the futurologist and the zeitgeist to develop an understanding for theories of trend forecasting. This project enabled me to analyse the market, changing consumer demands and product development, to create and communicate a range of trends within the theme of 'Rebellious Intimates'.
This module explores fashion styling and photography as well as visual communications within the industry. I was required to analyse a contemporary editorial and apply fundamental knowledge for styling and photographic practice. I learnt to visualise and communicate creative fashion propositions and develop imagery with consideration for the market.
This project used creative and communicative critical thinking to identify trends and opportunities within the market. I developed a sustainable product range from concept to consumer for the brand WEEKDAY and generated a logical range plan, with a sales forecast and pricing strategy. I looked at sourcing and manufacturing processes and fashion chain management to form the distribution plan, requiring me to apply my knowledge on contextual issues and fashion retail, specifically buying, merchandising and product development.
