A graduate student specialing in knitwear. Working with single bed, double bed and SHIMA to create garments and outfits.
Taking my personal experiences of hate from my life and taking the slurs that I have been called and brining ownership to them. In addition I am combining them with 80’s queer iconography such as the vests, biker jackets and athleisure shorts
Exploring the use of drugs and alcohol within gay saunas and cruising scenes to deal with previous trauma, loneliness and sexual desires. Taking textures and materials from queer imagery to design a outfit from these environments
