The trend of 2022 is sustainability. I chose two trends that related to sustainability and environmental-friendly. The first one is Digital printing which provides the less effect on environment and the trend tend to grow in the upcoming year because the digital printing need small amount of water and less energy in the process. So, it seems that the process is required low cost but the design might be the part that talented because the designers have to design the graphic from individual to chosen the textile. Another trend I chose for the collection is 3D textures. This trend appears as a designer wanted to make the differentiate from the basic of the fabrication. This 3D textiles are apply with animal prints for make the fabric looks more real. The textile usually makes with organic structure and for making this sustainable, the designer would create the textile without inks and chemicals or make it in ‘waste-free process’.
