About

Tabby is a textile designer specialising in screen print, digital print, and hard surfaces for interior applications, currently in her final year at Arts University Bournemouth. Her practice is rooted in first-hand observation of both the natural and built environment, gathering inspiration through sketches and photographs while wandering through city streets and countryside landscapes. She translates botanical forms and architectural shapes into richly textured, layered surface designs, blending contemporary print techniques with a deep curiosity about the world around her. Her work is rich in texture, colour, and visual interest, reflecting a passion for creating considered, tactile designs for contemporary interior spaces.

Inspired by Kew Gardens, this project investigates the connection between organic and architectural forms. Using layered print, digital design, and Jesmonite, I created a collection of interior surfaces that transform botanical research into bold, contemporary designs for luxury environments.

Inspired by Britain’s deteriorating wetlands, this project examines the tension between natural fragility and decorative design. Using layered surface patterns, print, and material development, I have created a collection of wallpapers, fabrics, and tiles that reimagine endangered butterfly species and vanishing native flora as bold interiors for middle-market bedrooms, en-suites, and dressing rooms, ensuring these quietly disappearing ecosystems retain a presence in the spaces we inhabit every day.
