Echo From the Seashell

Specialisms:

Womenswear

This project was inspired by listening to the sound of the waves and personal memories of the sea. Its laid-back, mellow sound resembles the distant echo of a seashell, evoking the peaceful atmosphere of time spent by the ocean. The design explores sensory interactions between the body and the coastal environment—seashells, sand, and seawater—translating these experiences into garments.

Private Shelter

Specialisms:

Womenswear

Private Shelter is an AI-assisted womenswear ready-to-wear project positioned for minimalist and quiet luxury brands. It explores the potential of using AI throughout the complete design process, from trend research, concept development, visual storytelling, and fabric direction to silhouette and garment development. The project imagines clothing as a portable private shelter, expressing quietness, protection, intimacy, and emotional security through soft enveloping silhouettes, restrained spatial volume, subtle structural details, and refined materials. It responds to future environmental and emotional uncertainty through a calm, timeless, and understated design language.

Boredom exists as a subtle boundary between calmness and restlessness. Bored! captures the fleeting moments of this in-between state, translating its mood into ready-to-wear garments. Through playful details and interactive elements, the collection introduces small moments of engagement, offering a quiet sense of fun within everyday wear.

memories that the tidewater forgot to take

“忘九潮" is a Japanese term that refers to seavater that is trapped in the crevices of rocks on the shore after the tide recedes It means "something the tide forgets to take away" and is a metaphor for memories that remain even as time passes. To me, these childhood memories that keep flashing through my mind are like "wasureiio." they influence me subconsciously and give me the inspiration to create this project. I hope to use this project to commemorate these fond memories.

Most of people prefer the object what is smooth, glossy and bright. But in my mind, the cracks the speckles the rough are also appealing. The imperfection is brilliant as well.
