About

I am a textile designer specialising in weave, with a focus on decorative trims. My practice combines traditional craft with a contemporary twist, exploring how colour, texture and structure come together to create tactile, expressive work.I work intuitively with materials, often starting with a loose idea and moving straight into making, allowing the process to guide the outcome. Using self-dyed yarns and constructed elements, I build depth and character through colour and detail. I am particularly interested in how certain colour combinations can elevate a design and spaces, especially within trims and smaller features.Hebe’s Haberdashery is how I describe my work where playful, colourful designs meet traditional techniques. From bold repeat patterns to decorative trims that bring energy and personality into interior spaces. My work is rooted in a belief that colour brings joy, and that even small details can transform a space.

Hebe’s Haberdashery reimagines traditional craft with a contemporary twist, creating expressive pieces that bring energy and joy to interior spaces. My practice focuses on weave and decorative passementerie, exploring bold repeat designs and hand-constructed trims to build texture and rhythm. Colour is central to my work. By using self-dyed yarns, I ensure every palette is bespoke and intentional. Driven by imagination, my process is deeply intuitive. I begin with a simple idea and allow the making to evolve naturally, responding to the materials on the loom so that every detail feels tactile, vibrant, and alive.
