About
I am a textile designer specializing in surface pattern and print design. With a keen interest in traditional printing processes my work celebrates the use of painting, hand-drawn motifs and screen-printing. Often drawing inspiration from the natural world and landscapes surrounding us I create visually engaging patterns; showcasing a strong use of composition, scale and colour that can transform interior spaces.
Flora in Form is a printed collection which explores the visual contrast between man-made precision and botanica found in formal gardens. Influenced by Art Nouveau aesthetics, this collection combines organic forms with geometric lines; creating unique pattern structures that mimic garden arrangements. Each one developed through collage, drawing and printing, while celebrating the use of hand-drawn motifs, traditional screen-printing and our connection to the natural world. Stately homes inform context, taking inspiration from Jacobean ceilings, wall panelling and grand designs to create a collection that communicates luxury and enhances elegance through a range of wallcovering and furnishing designs.
