About

As a passionate textile design student at the Winchester School of Art, I specialise in print design with a focus on digital techniques.

My style can be adapted to the theme and aesthetic of my brief. I pride myself in being able to explore a range of visual language and tell stories through my designs.

My final major project explores early 2000s nostalgia and how childhood memories can provide comfort for today’s anxious consumer. Inspired by growing up surrounded by iconic toys, films and aesthetics from the era, the collection reflects Gen Z’s desire to reconnect with childhood through nostalgic media and experiences. Through playful, joyful prints, the project celebrates the comfort and escapism found in reminiscing about growing up in the 2000s.

For Conscious Designer, I explored circular design through the lens of Swiss brand Freitag, who transform discarded materials into durable, desirable products. Inspired by their approach, I sourced unwanted PVC exhibition banners from my university and reimagined them as a starting point for graphic-led experimentation. Working with risograph, weaving, cutting and heat pressing, I manipulated existing advertisements to explore texture, structure and surface. The PVC’s durability and limitations challenged me to rethink print and materiality, while intentional distressing referenced Freitag’s appreciation of wear over time. This project reflects my interest in conscious design, demonstrating how waste materials can be reworked into considered, creative outcomes.
