About
Having moved from Australia to the UK, feelings of belonging shift and memories become somewhat of a fantasy. Landscapes evolve, but spiritual ties stay the same. My textiles form an interwoven story of my identity through memory, and are informed by colours, materials and finishes found in the rugged bushland of New South Wales. I naturally gravitate towards contemporary and unusual palettes, which directs me into robust fabric manipulations and innovation.

BIOSKINS Where ancient textures meet engineered evolution. A new generation of skins are reshaping luxury. Bioskins recast the tactile world of exotic hides from renewable materials, because luxury does not require harmful practice. Every skin is designed for reinvention through a modular material ecosystem: interlinking and interlocking, replaceable wear zones, patch based customisation, seasonal texture swapping, repair first construction, From fashion to automotive, finally, materials evolve with the product. BUSHLAND COUTURE The most beautiful things are deadly. The bush is extraordinary, more than a place, but a feeling. No one owns the land, the land owns you. It shapeshifts, invites you, rejects you. Bushland couture expands traditional haute couture to regional New South Wales. Using mixed visual imagery from my grandmother’s archive, and intertwining memories into materials and ties to land. Each sample develops a story from within the Australian bush, influenced by words passed through my mother line.
