About

I’m a Mexican-American designer with a background in biology and a deep love for storytelling. My work explores the intersection of science and fashion, merging natural forms with sustainable, ethical practices. Inspired by literature, I translate the written word into visual expression. Transforming narrative into silhouette, texture, and movement. Each piece is a conversation between disciplines, aiming to reflect the beauty and the power of thoughtful design.

The Emperor's New Clothes

Specialisms:

Apparel

Inspired by The Emperor’s New Clothes, This collection uses draping techniques and delicate fabrics such as silk organza, chiffon, crinkled chiffon, and satin-faced organza to convey Hans Christian Andersen’s Danish tale The Emperor’s New Clothes. Silhouettes are drawn from 16th-century Danish royal attire and are reimagined through a contemporary lens using nude illusion elements, blending historical opulence with modern minimalism.

This knitwear collection is inspired by the elements that shaped the spirit of the Wild West, from the Oregon Trail to the bloom of state flowers across the western frontier, and the vibrant energy of rodeo culture. Capturing the natural beauty and the bold spectacle of Western life. With bold palettes, floral motifs, and rich, handcrafted details, the collection is a modern homage to the stories, symbols, and colors that defined the American West.
