This collection titled ‘Just Another Day’ pursuits the modern-day love story with oneself and others whilst discovering the angst and transition from sublime happiness to anarchy and undoing. Exploring the death of the fashion archetype this collection incorporates avant-garde streetwear fashion that is inspired by the love story of Romeo and Juliet. Taking elements from 1900’s Korea and this preoccupation with a nonchalant display of whit referred to dandyism and the protagonist man. Putting into practise principles of harmony, shape and contrast of colour with baggy-tailoring and streetwear with a hint of utilitarian producing strong, extravagant androgynous pieces to portray this urge of want and need for love coupled with a nonchalant attitude. This collection incorporates the use of deadstock fabrications, embroidery and hand quilting as well as hand painted aesthetic, digital prints, heavy duty hardware using silks, cottons mixed with man made fibres with many contrasting fabrications that complement one another.
